Samsung's SCH-V890 slim slider

Samsung's SCH-V890 slim slider:

Samsung just knocked a couple more phone models outta bed to show-off their new SCH-V890/SPH-V8900 cellphone. This slider measures in at 13.8-mm and 85-grams and features a 2.12-inch, 240 x 320, 262K color TFT LCD, Bluetooth, a 1.3 megapixel shooter, MP3 player and that Nate Drive service popular in South Korea. We're not sure, but we'll bet you can even hold it up real close to your pie-hole for making calls. At least it better for that roughly $525 US equiv."

Motorola Q sighted on Verizon.com

Motorola Q sighted on Verizon.com: "Filed under: Handsets, Motorola, Verizon Wireless, Windows Mobile, EV-DO

It might not be much, but it's a good start. Quser.com just noticed this image of the Verizon version of the long-awaited Motorola Q floating around the Verizon website, and they thought they'd share. No more info than this, and we've known the Q was coming to Verizon for about forever, but at least the Verizon users among us can print out the image and play pretend.

Nokia 6175i Handset with GPS

Nokia 6175i Handset with GPS: "Nokia unveiled its 6175i CDMA handset, a midrange clamshell with a 1.3-megapixel camera as well as a GPS receiver. It's loaded for music, too, where you can listen to its built-in stereo FM radio or receive streaming audio or video in a variety of formats. Of course, it's Bluetooth compatible, and it has a 262K-color 128x160 internal display.

Although it looks a lot like most of the other Nokia handsets we've seen, that GPS receiver inside is a welcome feature. We're thinking this might be a ubiquitous feature in the months to come.

Treo launch rumor adds a price: $399 / $499

Treo launch rumor adds a price: $399 / $499: "
Last we heard from our insider in the biz, Palm was going to be launching their PalmOS-powered Treo 700p sometime around or on Monday, May 15th. Now it would seem Gadgets on the Go's gotten word from a source they deem reliable that the 700p's got a price: $399 for a new 2 year contract, $499 with a 1 year contract. (Oh, they also confirmed the same release time frame we had -- mid May ideally, early June at latest.) That sounds about right if you ask us, but there's only one way to find out: wait for the launch. Ok, well, two ways: we'll keep on inquiring, ourselves. Stay tuned, Treo nuts.
